Kokekt Mines

These mountain workings lie west of Tharxa on the edge of the Deneskid Heights, among the few sources of Tharax's mountain iron. Deep tarns above the mines hold the red-bellied Kokekt char, and pale blind crickets live in the shafts. Skekir Sirtys Gonamik, head of the Tyrthas, walks with a limp from a childhood fall in the Kokekt mines.
