Threeoars

The great barge-town of the Drift, a floating town of four hundred souls on the Wenvorm under Helm Rindlith, who is tattooed with a river-fish for every year of her fifty on the water. For thirty years it has drifted between Aldmere and Caelvenne and paid taxes to neither, smuggling what pays and ferrying what doesn't. Pell, the Drift orphan who can swim the Wenvorm in flood and pick a lock underwater, is Rindlith's runner.
