Sastorid Crags

The rugged southern province of Tharax bears the name of the Sastorid royal line, the house of King Lekakor and of King Drimor Sastorid, who was assassinated by a Bound servant in 520. It holds the town of Sastorra, the fort of Lokon and the ruin at the Field of the Gap, and it faces both Castavar and Zarvand. The Talodin rises in these southern mountains, and the Zarvani fortress of Faashab-Talodin has stood on Tharaxi ground at its headwaters since 840. On the sunny south faces, small brown scree scorpions shelter among the rocks.
