Faashab-Talodin
A Zarvani fortress at the Talodin headwaters, planted on Tharaxi soil by Khaasar Talodeer the Magnificent in 840, when Tharax, weakened by Aldmere's Lords' War, let it stand; it has been a sore point for three centuries. It lies on the road from Tharxa and Sastorra to Mazbaaran. In 1139 the Zarvani broke the Third Crusade here at a river crossing, burning the ratorlon with Talodin fire; eight thousand Castavari burned or drowned, King Dobarmo IV took the burn he still wears a glove over, and King Kenithor of Tharax had his forearm broken by a bolt. Every spring the girl chosen for the Walking of the Talodin sets out from here to greet the river all the way to Lake Shorooq.
