Claupiose
A city on Caelvenne's southwestern shore, the first Caelvennois city on the road from Hethlend through Haldarthir and Wromthalm to Solvaine. It was one of the Marrowmere League cities that founded the Lake Treasury in 220. In 271, during the Marrowmere Wars, Claupiose's galleys fired Ienvaune's harbor with pitch and two thousand died, and the grudge between the two cities' noble houses has lasted to this day. The lavender hills above the city and the mulberry groves of its dye-houses supply Caelvenne's perfume and silk trades.
