Puesdro

Puesdro is Castavar's frontier city below the Tharaxi Gap and the gateway to the silver country. Silver was found in the mountains above it in 752, and within thirty years Castavar was minting more silver than every other realm combined. Castavari say that the silver of Puesdro is the tears of angels who wept when the Solitary God made the world alone; Zarvani scholars say silver runs where the rock cooled. It stands on the road from Grarañe to Lokon and Tharxa, the route Castavari armies take toward the Gap.
