Ownvos

Ownvos is a town of the Southdowns, off the crown roads in the heart of the downs. Like every village and town of the province it has its archery guild and holds Bow-day each spring, when the children shoot at a straw hare. Its fields are sheep pasture and its hearth-yards grow the dark Downs yew that makes the longbow.
